Why Clubshub Is Free: Helping Clubs Keep More of Their Money
We believe clubs should be able to manage fines, subscriptions and admin without losing money to extra software costs.
Why Clubshub Is Free
At Clubshub, we have spent a lot of time thinking about what grassroots clubs actually need. The answer is usually not more costs, more subscriptions, or more admin pressure. It is simple tools that help clubs stay organised without taking money away from the things that matter most.
That is a big part of why we chose to make Clubshub free.
Clubs Already Have Enough to Pay For
Most clubs are not working with huge budgets. They are paying for pitches, kits, equipment, league fees, social events, transport, and everything else that comes with keeping a team running.
When money is tight, every extra monthly cost matters. Even a small software fee can feel like another bill a club does not need. For many teams, that money is better spent supporting players, improving matchdays, or keeping subscriptions affordable for everyone involved.
We do not want club management software to become another expense that eats into the club’s funds.
Admin Should Not Cost You More Money
Fine tracking and player balances are supposed to make life easier. But if the tool itself starts reducing the money a club keeps, it can create a new problem instead of solving one.
We believe the system should help clubs:
- Stay on top of fines and subscriptions
- Reduce time spent chasing payments
- Keep records clear and organised
- Avoid unnecessary admin stress
- Manage money without losing more of it in overheads
That is the standard we want to hold ourselves to.
Free Makes the Platform More Accessible
Grassroots football is built on volunteers, good people, and limited time. Not every club is in the same financial position, and not every team can justify paying for a management platform, even if it would help them.
By keeping Clubshub free, we make it easier for more clubs to get started. That means teams can modernise how they manage fines and payments without needing a budget meeting first.
For us, accessibility matters. A club should not be locked out of better organisation just because it is being careful with money.
We Built Clubshub to Support Clubs, Not Burden Them
Everything about Clubshub comes back to the reality of how clubs operate. Many teams are run by people giving up their own time to keep things moving. The last thing they need is another system that feels expensive, complicated, or disconnected from real club life.
We want Clubshub to feel useful straight away:
- Easy to set up
- Simple for players to use
- Helpful for the people managing the club
- Affordable in the most direct way possible: free
That approach reflects what we believe clubs deserve.
Keeping More Money in the Club
When a club saves money on admin tools, that money stays inside the club. It can go towards:
- Lower costs for players
- Better equipment
- Team socials and end-of-season events
- Covering pitch or league expenses
- Supporting the long-term future of the team
That matters to us. We know clubs work hard for every pound they bring in, and we think more of that money should stay with the people building the club week in, week out.
Our View Going Forward
Going free is not just a pricing decision. It is part of how we see Clubshub’s role in grassroots sport.
We want to build tools that genuinely help clubs run better, without creating new financial pressure in the process. If we can save teams time, simplify admin, and help them hold on to more of their money, then we are doing what we set out to do.
That is why Clubshub is free, and why we believe that matters.
If your club wants a simpler way to manage fines, payments, and player admin without adding extra cost, Clubshub is built for you.
